Worn and weary French provincial pieces are one of my favorite styles of furniture to refinish. With their classic design and signature pulls, they are loaded with potential with all that paint, glaze and distressing can do for them!
These matching nightstand took on a new life after being painted and glazed in Antiqued White, with Tea Stained Glaze accenting the curves and detail of the nightstands.
Vintage French provincial dressers are in a class of their own, and are a favorite to refinish. This nine drawer dresser was pained Kettle Black, distressed, and sealed with high gloss polyurethane.
High gloss was selected for this custom order because of the additional pop it would provide. It delivered, and with the original pulls, it takes on a new life and makes a statement loud and clear that it’s qualities are to be enjoyed for years to come.
