One of the left legs was damaged, and despite all my best efforts, I could not repair and restore it to it’s previous durability. So I made the difficult decision of cutting the leg off, as well as the leg that matched it on the opposite side.
I then refinished it in Sea Blue, with Black Glaze accenting all the great art deco detail. The original pulls were spray painted black, and reused.
Despite the loss of two legs, the vanity desk came back to life with the new colors that made all it’s character pop.
Desks and vanities are a great way to introduce the upstyled look of painted, glazed and distressed furniture into your home. Whether your choice of paint color is bold or neutral, these pieces provide a unique and functional pop of character to a bedroom or work area.
Our Desks & Vanities collection offers many example of how these pieces may be refinished. If you inspire to DIY, visit this album HERE to view these and many more examples of refinished end tables.
