Old furniture pieces on their last leg can take on a new life when repurposed. With a little creativity and outside the box thinking, something old can become useful in a whole way.
Take the coffee table legs upstyled with paint, glaze and distressing. When the piece was found in a thrift store, the glass inserts were missing on top.
The legs were cut off, and give a new look in distressed Turquoise with Black Glaze. Hooks from Hobby Lobby were added, transforming the piece into a coat rack.
And coat racks may also be repurposed from old cabinet doors. With a great paint color, the accenting effect of glaze, and wood tones revealed by distressing, make for a whole new level of charm and one-of-a-kind character.
