How Paint, Glaze & Distressing Transforms Chests of DrawersDIY Furniture Paint, Glaze & Distressing
When I found this art deco dresser at a favorite thrift store, it was in bad shape! One of the drawers had completely come apart.
And I knew for sure I wanted it!
With it’s decades old and very reliable dovetail joints, I was able to glue the drawers pieces back together. It was almost as good as new.
But the piece needed an upgrade from it’s weary and very worn out look!
So paint, glaze and distressing were the ticket to giving this piece a new life.
Refinished in Barn Red, with Black Glaze accenting the detail, the piece popped back to life. Reusing the pulls provided a throw back to it’s original design.
