This weary old art deco chest of drawers looked way past it’s prime. It was given a whole new life with paint, glaze and distressing!
With it’s formica top, Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 spray primer was applied as a base coat.
The chest of drawers was then painted Robin’s Egg Blue, with Black Glaze accenting the oak wood grain, molding, and ornate detail on the drawers.
Vintage pulls were repurposed and spray painted black for the bottom drawers, with their style complementing the curves on the upper drawers.
Light distressing popped out the original wood tones.
